Corporate retreats & offsites

Your team's offsite in a chalet that's entirely yours — chef on site, guided activities, 1h15 from Geneva.

Chalet Sandy is a private 8-ensuite-bedroom chalet in Les Gets, in the Portes du Soleil. Whole-chalet privacy for your team — 8 ensuite bedrooms, a private room each for a team of 8, a dining room that doubles as a working space, a Michelin-trained chef on site, and a qualified mountain-guiding service for the activity days.

Two formats

Autumn or winter.

The season changes the rhythm of the retreat. The whole-chalet privacy, chef catering and guided activity stay the same.

Autumn

Team cohesion in the mountains

September to mid-November. Hiking, mountain biking, outdoor workshops, chef-cooked dinners. Ideal for kicking off a new year, launching a project, or rewarding a team before the year-end run. Often spectacular weather, mountains nearly empty.

Winter

Ski + working time

December to April. Half-day skiing, morning or evening work sessions, raclette nights or tasting menus. Works equally as a weekend, a midweek block or a full week, outside French school holidays.

Why Chalet Sandy

Three things that make the difference.

I

Whole-chalet privacy

Eight ensuite bedrooms — a private room each for a team of 8, up to 12 with their own bed, 16 when the four double rooms are shared. Open-plan living and dining space, separate TV room, south-facing terrace with hot tub. Your team and no one else in the chalet.

II

Chef-led food

The owner is a Michelin-trained chef. From self-catering through to tasting menus with wine pairing, via family-style dinners and coffee breaks. All dietary requirements catered for.

III

Guided activity

A qualified mountain-guiding service is available for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and mountain biking. Bespoke activity programmes shaped around the retreat's goals and the team's level.

Sample programme (2 nights)

A frame, shaped around your team.

Every retreat is different. This is a 2-night format that works well — we reshape it with you based on your objectives.

Day 1 · PM

Arrival & welcome dinner

Mid-afternoon arrival, settle in, welcome address. Chef-cooked dinner in the evening to set the tone.

Day 2 · AM

Working session

Morning work in the main dining room — used as the meeting space. Fibre Wi-Fi, coffee breaks served.

Day 2 · PM

Guided activity

Afternoon in the mountains: hiking, snowshoeing or skiing depending on the season. Led by a qualified guide. Pace adapted to the team.

Day 2 · Evening

Together properly

Drinks on the terrace, hot tub, tasting menu with wine pairing. The point at which the team really finds its rhythm.

Day 3

Wrap-up & depart

Breakfast, a closing session, departure after lunch. Easy to extend by a night for longer formats.

The practicalities

What you need to know.

Capacity

8 ensuite bedrooms — four twins (own beds) and four doubles. A team of 8 has a room each; up to 12 with a bed each; 16 if the double rooms are shared. A separate bunk room (5 beds) takes the total to 21.

Working space

Main dining room and open-plan lounge form one large space that works as the meeting room, fibre Wi-Fi throughout, terrace for outdoor sessions.

Catering

Breakfast, lunches and dinners all delivered by the chef. All dietary requirements handled. Handmade pottery crockery (made by Duncan).

Access & transfers

1h15 from Geneva airport. Group transfers arranged with reliable local operators. Free on-site parking for up to 6 cars.

Frequently asked

Before you write to us.

What's the capacity and room configuration?

Eight ensuite bedrooms: four can be twins (two single beds), four are doubles. So a team of up to 8 gets a private room each, up to 12 people can each have their own bed, and the chalet sleeps 16 once the double rooms are shared — couples, or colleagues happy to share. A separate bunk room adds 5 more, to 21. We map out exactly who sleeps where with you before you commit.

When should we book for February–March?

Weekends, midweek blocks (Sunday–Thursday) and full weeks are all available across February and March — the popular slots go first, so if you're planning a Q1 retreat, lock dates in the autumn and we'll happily pencil a hold while you confirm internally.

Is there a working space and is the Wi-Fi reliable?

The main dining room and open-plan lounge form one large space that works as the meeting room for the whole group. Fibre Wi-Fi throughout the chalet — robust enough for video calls and live demos.

How does catering and dietary handling work?

Everything cooked on site by the chef. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, allergies — all handled directly, no surcharge for the usual requirements. Coffee breaks and snacks available throughout the day on request.

Transfers from Geneva?

1h15 by road. We arrange group transfers (minibus or coach depending on numbers) with trusted local operators. For teams driving in, free parking on site.

How do booking and partnership terms work?

A deposit confirms the booking, the balance is paid against an agreed schedule before the retreat. For agencies, commission or net rate depending on your model. All terms (cancellation, exact inclusions) written down before any money moves.
