Chalet Sandy is a private 9-bedroom chalet in Les Gets, in the vast Portes du Soleil ski area — just 1h15 from Geneva airport. Whole-chalet exclusivity for up to 21 guests, Michelin-trained chef catering on tap, and a qualified mountain-guiding service for off-piste and ski-touring days.
A whole-chalet booking in Les Gets typically delivers more experience and better value than a peak week at a big-name resort. Total privacy for the group. Food handled. The mountains made easy.
Nine bedrooms across two floors, sleeping up to 21 guests. Open-plan living and dining for the whole group, a private hot tub on a south-facing terrace, log fire, separate TV room. Your group — only your group.
The owner is a Michelin-trained chef. Catering ranges from a simple welcome supper to multi-course tasting menus with wine pairing — built around your group's dates, dietaries and rhythm. Self-catered weeks supported too.
A qualified mountain-guiding service is available for off-piste, ski-touring and snowshoe days, plus itinerary help in the village. Your group skis the right runs for their ability with someone who knows the area.
Every group is different — this is the rhythm most weeks settle into. We'll shape the detail with you in advance.
Group transfer arrives from Geneva late afternoon. Personal welcome, rooms allocated, a relaxed chef-cooked dinner the first evening.
Mornings on the Portes du Soleil. The ski bus stops outside the chalet door. Return for hot tub, pre-dinner drinks, dinner together.
A guided day for the strongest skiers — backcountry powder or a ski-tour. Easier alternatives organised for the rest of the group.
Half-day skiing, a long lunch on the mountain, free evenings in the village or a final-night tasting menu at the chalet.
Group transfer back to Geneva. Last coffee on the terrace before you go.
We work with ski clubs, councils and agencies on whole-chalet weeks. Partner terms — commission or net rates — are straightforward, and we're happy to hold a week while you fill it.
A familiarisation visit is always on the table. Come and see the chalet, ski the area, meet us properly. Most of our long-running partner relationships started with one.
Les Gets sits at the heart of the Portes du Soleil — one of the largest linked ski areas in the world, spanning France and Switzerland. A traditional alpine village, not a purpose-built concrete resort. And critically: 1 hour 15 minutes from Geneva airport, with the ski bus stopping at the chalet door.
Portes du Soleil — 12 resorts, France and Switzerland, linked on one lift pass. Beginners through to expert off-piste, all from one base.
One of the shortest transfers in the French Alps. Group transfers from GVA arranged with reliable local operators.
Wooden chalets, family-run restaurants, Saturday market. The village your group will remember — not the airport hotel of resort towns.
Stops outside the chalet, all day, no group logistics to organise. Your skiers move on their own time.
Les Gets is part of the Portes du Soleil — 600km of linked pistes across 12 resorts in France and Switzerland. The full area is accessible on one lift pass and the village sits at 1,170m, with skiing up to 2,275m on Mont Chéry and across to Avoriaz. Snow conditions and snowmaking infrastructure are strong through January–March; we'll always be honest with you about December and April conditions if you're considering shoulder weeks.
Up to 21 guests across 9 bedrooms — typically 16 adults plus 5 children, or up to 21 adults if the group is happy with some bunk-bed sharing. We have a mix of double, twin-convertible and family rooms. Once you have a confirmed group, we'll map a room plan together before deposits go down.
Anything from a fully self-catered week (the chalet's kitchen is fully equipped for 21) through to a chef-cooked welcome dinner only, full half-board, or multi-course tasting menus. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies, kids' menus — all handled directly with the chef. No prefab packages.
Geneva is the airport of choice — 1h15 by road, no border crossings. We work with reliable local transfer operators and will arrange a group transfer at preferential rates if that helps. Self-drive groups have free parking on site.
We'll hold a week for an agreed deposit window while you fill it. Partner terms are commission-based or net-rate depending on what suits your model — either is fine. Cancellation and balance terms are explained clearly in writing before any money moves. A familiarisation visit is always welcome.
Every enquiry gets a personal reply — usually within the hour. Not an automated form response.
