Ski School, Lift Passes & Ski Hire

At Chalet Sandy we can help you arrange everything that is required for the perfect catered chalet holiday. This includes pre- booking your lift passes for your arrival, advising on the best ski schools for your personal needs and organising ski hire in local shops.

A few recommended Ski Schools & Instructors:

  • ESF – great for beginner group lessons – they include a lift pass for beginners that helps saves the pennies!  See their website
  • LGS – Tim Scott & his team are fantastic British instructors who run small group & private lessons. See their website
  • BASS – The British Alpine Ski School have been around for years and have a great reputation for group & private teaching. See their website
  • Jean Luc Tamanini – Our local hero, Jean Luc is a fantastic guide who will help improve skiing techniques and take you on an adventure of a lifetime! Great for an off-piste powder day. See his website

 Ski Hire

There are plenty of ski hire shops in the village and we use & recommend Berthet Sports. Located right opposite Chavannes ski slope & ski school meeting points, Berthet also offers top of the range boots & skis, excellent professional fitting & service and heated locker systems which means that you can leave your boots and skis overnight to avoid lugging equipment around. Prices start from 72€ for 6 days ski & boot hire.
Cheap deals can be found online, but some of our guests have had bad experiences with poorly serviced or old equipment. Having spent so much on a ski holiday why risk suffering from bad equipment!?
