Retreats between the seasons

A quiet chalet for your retreat.

Between the ski and summer seasons, Les Gets goes quiet. That's when Chalet Sandy works best as a retreat venue: nine bedrooms, a big open living space, a hot tub looking at the mountains and nobody else in the house. From €560 a night for the whole chalet.

Who it suits

Yoga, wellness, writing, or just thinking.

Retreat leaders who want a venue they can run their own way, coaches and small groups, and leadership teams who need a few days away to plan. You run the programme. We look after the house, and the food if you'd like.

Space to meet

The dining room and living room are one big open space with a log fire. The terrace faces south with the mountains in front of you, and the TV and games room downstairs gives you somewhere else to go.

Rooms

Nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms. A room each for 8 people, beds for 12 without anyone sharing a bed, or 16 with the doubles shared.

Food

Our Michelin-trained chef can cook every meal, with any diet catered for, quoted separately from the accommodation. Or use the kitchen yourselves, as it's equipped for 21.

The inter-season

What it's really like.

The lifts stop in mid-September and don't open again until the ski season starts in mid-December. The same happens again from mid-April until the summer lifts open in June.

So it's quiet. Some restaurants and shops close, the trails are empty and you can walk straight out of the door. That's why it works for a retreat, and why most retreat groups book our chef.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

When is the chalet best for a retreat?

Between the seasons: mid-September to mid-December, and mid-April to mid-June. The lifts are closed, the village is quiet and the trails are empty. Autumn and spring are also the cheapest times of year.

Where would we hold sessions?

The dining room and living room are one big open space with a log fire, and it's where most groups meet. The terrace faces south with mountain views, and there's a separate TV and games room downstairs.

How many people can come?

Up to 21 people can sleep at the chalet. For a retreat, 8 people can have a room each, 12 can have their own bed, and 16 can stay with the double rooms shared.

Can you cook for the group?

Yes. Our Michelin-trained chef can cook every meal, or just some of them. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergies are all fine. Many restaurants in the village close between seasons, so most retreats book the chef. Catering is quoted separately from the accommodation.

Can you hold dates while we fill places?

Get in touch. We can pencil dates in for a short time while you confirm.

How does booking work?

A 25% deposit secures the dates and the balance is due 8 weeks before you arrive. Booking direct means no platform fees, so we can always offer you our best price.
